The honest version first, because it shapes everything else on this page: Star-Clicks pays a minimum of $0.01 for each advertising link you click. Some ads pay more. That is supplementary income, and anyone promising you otherwise about any click-based platform is not being straight with you.
Within that reality there is still a meaningful difference between publishers who earn very little and publishers who earn steadily. It comes down to consistency far more than cleverness.
Where the money actually comes from
Star-Clicks is an advertising network. Advertisers pay to have their websites seen, and publishers — you — are paid a share when you view those advertising links. That is the whole model, and understanding it explains the two things people find most confusing.
Why the amount per ad varies
Advertisers pay different rates, and rates differ by country because advertisers value audiences differently. So the same effort produces different amounts on different days. The $0.01 figure is the floor, not the average and not the ceiling.
Why ads are not unlimited
The number of ads available depends on how many advertisers are currently running campaigns that match you. Nobody can click their way past that limit — when you have clicked the day's ads, that is the day's ads.
What actually increases your earnings
1. Show up every day
New ads are added daily and they do not accumulate indefinitely. Missing days is the single biggest reason two publishers in the same country end a month with very different totals. Five minutes a day beats an hour once a week, because the hour cannot recover ads that are no longer there.
2. Finish the day's ads
Clicking half the available ads earns half the available amount. It sounds obvious, but it is the most common pattern we see in accounts that under-earn.
3. Complete your verification early
An unverified account cannot complete a withdrawal. Publishers sometimes build a balance for weeks and only then discover verification is outstanding. Do it at the start — and if the code will not arrive, our guide on verification codes that do not arrive covers the fix, which is usually the number format.
4. Use referrals if you genuinely have an audience
Your account includes a referral link. If you run a website, a channel or an active community, this is the one lever that scales beyond your own clicking, because it is no longer limited by the hours in your day.
A word of caution attached to that: refer people honestly. Tell them it is a few cents per ad. Referrals who sign up expecting a salary do not stay, so overselling costs you the very thing you were trying to build.
Setting a realistic monthly expectation
Rather than quote a figure that would be wrong for most readers, do this arithmetic with your own account after a week: look at what you earned, divide by seven, multiply by thirty. That number is your realistic monthly rate at your country's rates and your current habits — and it is worth far more than any number we could print here.
Be sceptical of big claims. If you find a site claiming Star-Clicks or any click platform pays hundreds a week, it is almost certainly an affiliate page written to earn a referral commission from you. Our own numbers are on this page, and they are small and honest.
